Custom AI tools for UK firms

The repetitive drafting your team does, absorbed.

Most professional firms have one or two workflows that quietly eat fee-earner and admin time and never appear on a client bill. I build custom Claude tools that take that drafting layer off your desk, tuned to your templates, in your firm's voice, with your team's review kept in place.

What I build

Not a platform you log into. Not a subscription. A tool built for one of your real workflows, that runs on demand and produces finished, review-ready drafts.

Document generation

Client onboarding packs, case-prep bundles, engagement letters, management commentary, assembled from your intake and your templates.

Drafting workflows

Candidate write-ups, coverage summaries, correspondence sets, status reports, the prep layer that grows with your client list, not your team.

Internal Q&A

Ask questions across your own private documents and get sourced answers, without files leaving your control.

02

See it working

A short walkthrough of a client onboarding tool built for a sample law firm: intake in, finished pack out, in the firm's voice.

03

How a build works

Start to working tool in three to four weeks, not a six-month project.

1Week 1

Discovery

A short call to find the workflow worth automating, then I collect a handful of your real examples to capture your house style.

2Week 2

Build

I build and test the tool against your templates and your intake structure. No platform, no integration you don't ask for.

3Week 3

Review

You and one nominated reviewer check the output on real cases. I tune the prompts, which stay plain text you can edit yourself.

4Week 4

Handover

You receive the working tool, the prompts, plain-English docs, and 30 days of support. You keep the code. No lock-in.

04

The model

Clear terms, set before any work starts.

  • Fixed fee. Agreed up front, no hourly meter, no surprises.
  • You own the code. No subscription, no platform, no rental.
  • Founder-built. The person who scopes it is the person who builds it.
  • Your review stays in place. The tool drafts; your people sign off.
  • Three to four weeks. Start to working tool, not a six-month project.
  • Not tied to one model. Built on Claude, portable to others if needed.

Fixed-fee builds, typically £4,000–£10,000

Scoped per firm. Not sure it's worth a full build? Start with a £2,000 pilot: one workflow, two weeks, yours to keep either way.

Who you'd be working with

Alvin Shek

Founder

I build these tools myself, end to end. Before I sold a single project I built my own automated outbound system on Claude, which is how I know this category works, not just in theory. Pipework is deliberately small: one operator, fixed-fee work, no account managers between you and the person doing the build.

And because you keep the code, and the prompts are plain English you can edit, you're never dependent on me to keep it running. That's the point, not an afterthought. I'm early enough that I'd rather show you the actual work than point at a wall of logos, so the honest pitch is a short call and a working demo, and you decide from there.

Worth a conversation?

Twenty minutes, one of your workflows.

I'll look at a workflow you actually run and tell you honestly whether a build is worth it. No pressure if it isn't.
